The bodhan has often been described as “the pulse” of an Irish music session.  Seamus O Kane is Ireland’s  foremost maker of this old Irish instrument. Kane is also a master bodhran beater and gives the listener an insight as to how the instrument is made. His gentle yet innovative playing style has driven many a great Irish pub session all over the years.

One of the most popular bands in Ireland Kila brings the rhythm and sound of Irish music and presents them in a very contemporary nature. Their soulful performances have left audience worldwide spellbound

The show ends as always with a great high energy piece featuring the house band Dervish and all of the guest musicians on the show playing a selection picked just minutes earlier in which everyone contributes in their own unique way.
